    Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels is currently seeking a Café Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Meals on Wheels Café in Richland. This position serves as the designated Person-In-Charge (PIC) and ensures compliance with Washington State Food Code requirements while providing exceptional service to participants, volunteers, and the community.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise meal setup, service, and cleanup.
    • Ensure timely meal preparation and assembly of supplies, dishes, utensils, and food service items.
    • Oversee and coordinate volunteers during meal service and home-delivered meal operations.
    • Schedule volunteer shifts to ensure efficient daily operations.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Washington State Food Code requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records, including food safety reports, volunteer hours, and bank deposits.
    • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment for participants and guests.
    • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
    • Perform administrative duties, including phone calls, follow-up communication, and documentation.
    • Attend required meetings and training.
    • Maintain confidentiality of participant, staff, volunteer, and organizational information.

    Qualifications

    Education & Licensing:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Valid Washington State Driver’s License required.
    • Washington State Food Handler’s Card required or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire.

    Experience & Skills:

    • Food service experience preferred, including food preparation, operation of food service equipment, and health and sanitation standards.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, email, and basic computer applications.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
    • Ability to lead and supervise volunteers effectively.

    Working Conditions:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and support Home Care Providers, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
    • Oversee client assignments, service scheduling, and performance evaluations.
    • Ensure successful service delivery, address service issues, and maintain documentation.
    • Assist with on-call duties and provide emergency client services when needed.

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent required.
    • 2+ years of Home Care or customer service experience.
    • 1+ year of office experience; supervisory experience preferred.

    • Must meet additional certification requirements (CNA or WA State Home Care Aide training).

    About the Role

    The Executive Director provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the organization and serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, leadership team, and community stakeholders.     • Experience working with a Board of Directors.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.
    • Strategic thinking combined with practical execution.
    • Emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong decision-making skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in a related field.
    • Experience in nonprofit, human services, healthcare, or aging services organizations.

    Salary Range

    $140,000 – $180,000 annually (DOE/DOQ)

    Typically, selected candidates are hired at a salary rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

    • Ensure timely assembly and preparation of food, dishes, utensils, and supplies.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Home Care Services is currently seeking energetic, caring people to join our professional home care provider team.  A Home Care Provider works one-on-one with a client(s) to assist local seniors and disabled individuals to live independently, in their own homes. Duties may include; personal care tasks, grocery shopping, transportation to medical services, housework, etc.

    Minimum Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Washington driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, proof of car insurance, and an acceptable criminal history. COVID vaccination is not required.
